The leather base of the bridle is hard/stiff and the single-ear is very stiff and unforgiving. It irritates my cutting horses ear....uncomfortable. I'm considering returning it. Also the leather has a strange odor. It's not luxurious. I would love the same style Ina more natural Herman Oak leather. J. Larson
